Late Wednesday night 825 Eversource customers in Wellfleet lost power after a limb went down across wires. Utility crews are working to restore service.
8:00 AM update: Eversource still showing over 600 customers without power in Wellfleet. Bourne officials were on the scene of a pole down and wires burning on Pleasant Street just off Sandwich Road in Sagamore. A few other isolated outages. A High Wind Warning remains in effect through the day.
1:00 PM update: 59 MPH wind gusts in Provincetown and Wellfleet. A number of reports of trees or limbs down but no major power outages. 158 customers in Barnstable were without power as of this report.
5:00 PM update: Chatham Harbormaster reports a busy day with several boats breaking loose as winds gusted to 51 MPH:

8:0o PM update: about 5:30 PM, 500 Eversource customers were without power in Yarmouth. Late Thursday afternoon Sandwich firefighters were called to the water tank site on Quaker Meetinghouse Road where a generator had caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.
