YARMOUTH – A school bus was evacuated on the side of Route 6 in Yarmouth after smoke was noticed on the bus. The incident happened about 3 PM eastbound just past exit 7. No one was injured and students boarded another bus to continue their trip home. A mechanical problem apparently caused the smoke. It was not immediately clear which school the bus was from.
