Man indicted in 2017 stabbing murder of his father, woman indicted for accessory after the fact

BARNSTABLE – From Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office: Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced Thursday that a Barnstable County grand jury returned indictments against 38-year-old Eli J. Perry for first degree murder, and aggravated assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon on a person 60 years or older, in connection with the stabbing death of his father, 64-year-old Raymond “Ray” Perry. The grand jury also returned indictments today against 30-year-old Paige A. Malone for accessory after the fact to murder and unlawful disposal of a human body in connection with her involvement.

Raymond Perry was reported missing to police on Friday, December 1, 2017, although the reporting party told police that he had not been seen since the previous Sunday, November 26, 2017. On December 18, 2017, after an extensive joint investigation with the Mashpee Police and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office, aided by law enforcement agencies in Plymouth County, the body of Raymond Perry was recovered off of Federal Furnace Road in Plymouth Massachusetts. The cause of death has been determined by the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office to be blunt force trauma to the head in combination with cutting wounds to the neck.

Eli Perry and Paige Malone will be arraigned in the Barnstable Superior Court in the ordinary course of business. Both remain held without bail. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Nicole Manoog.
