CAPE COD  – The 10th annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run is today. Police officers take turns carrying the torch from Provincetown to Bourne. It started at 5 a.m. and travels mostly along Route 6A until reaching Bourne around 5 p.m.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an international partnership between Law Enforcement and Special Olympics. It is a special partnership that allows local officers to help raise awareness and funds that directly support the local Special Olympics athletes of Massachusetts and all over the United States.
