6:30 PM update: A section of Gifford Street in Falmouth was closed due to a tree in the wires. 3,000 Eversource customers lost power because of the incident. By 7:30 PM the outage had been reduced to about 200.
9:45 p.m. update: Route 28 on the Dennis side of the Bass River Bridge was closed due to flooding from heavy rain. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.
