Storm knocks down trees, cuts power

– A windswept soaker hit the Cape on Sunday:

As of 3 p.m., at least a half-dozen reports of trees down on roadways had come in.

As of 6 p.m., a peak wind gust to 48 MPH was reported in Marstons Mills. Rainfall amounts of 2.23 inches were reported in Brewster.

As of 8 p.m., Eversource showed  the following power outages: 224 customers in Brewster and 239 in Harwich and over 800 in Orleans. Most of those were believed related to a pickup vs pole crash.

Dennis Police posted this photo of the parking lot at South Village Beach flooded around 2:30 p.m.
