YARMOUTH – On Veterans Day, this Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM the men and women of the Yarmouth Police Department will join forces with volunteers from the Yarmouth-Dennis Community Emergency Response Team and the Yarmouth Rotary to collect food and other important items for the over 5,000 people in need in our community.
This is their 14th bi-annual food drive and donations will be accepted to support the Yarmouth Food Pantry.
The goal is to continue to help stock the shelves and aid the dedicated pantry volunteers.
The Yarmouth Food Pantry is in need of the following supplies:
- CEREAL
- PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY
- SOUP, CHILI, AND BEEF STEW
- CANNED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
- CANNED FOODS SUCH AS BAKED BEANS, RAVIOLI, TUNA
- OATMEAL
- PANCAKE MIX AND SYRUP
- INSTANT POTATOES
CASH AND CHECK DONATIONS PAYABLE TO THE YARMOUTH FOOD PANTRY WHICH HELPS PURCHASE PERISHABLE FOODS SUCH AS EGGS, BREAD, AND MILK
