SANDWICH – A 17-year-old was injured in a sledding accident late Tuesday afternoon. Rescuers responded to Captain Towne Road where the victim had reportedly suffered a head injury after hitting a tree. The victim was transported to South Shore Hospital trauma center in Weymouth. Further details were not immediately available.
