COTUIT – Three people were injured in a head-on crash in Cotuit late Wednesday evening. The crash happened about 11:40 p.m. on Falmouth Road (Route 28) at Stub Toe Road. One person had to be extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life. All three were taken to local hospitals by Cotuit, Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills (COMM) and Mashpee ambulances. One of the victims suffered serious injuries but none are believed to be life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
