WELLFLEET – A traffic crash caused significant delays along Route 6 in Wellfleet. Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on around 11 AM on Route 6 at Richards Way. Three people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Ambulances from Eastham and Orleans assisted at the scene. Traffic was reduced to one alternating lane for a time causing significant delays in the area.
Then about 9 PM a multi-vehicle crash was reported on Route 6 at Spring Brook Road not far from the Eastham line. One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries.
Both crashes are under investigation by Wellfleeet Police.
