TISBURY – From Tisbury Police: On Sunday, April 28th, 2019 at approximately 2 AM, Officers Duquette and Silvia conducted a traffic stop of a juvenile male operator on Edgartown Road in Tisbury. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the male party was in possession of a metal BB gun that had the orange tip painted black to appear as a real firearm.
While this lookalike weapon was not used in the commission of any crime, the Tisbury Police Department would like to discourage and dissuade anyone from altering, and especially driving around with an imitation firearm.
