Traffic stop leads to drug arrest of 18-year-old in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – An East Falmouth teen is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Falmouth Tuesday night, during which cocaine, Xanax pills, and marijuana were all seized.

It was just after 10 p.m. when police stopped a 2002 Nissan sedan for an equipment violation.

While one officer was determining the sobriety of the operator, another officer saw one of the passengers “fidgeting and manipulating his pants” as if he was hiding a weapon or contraband.

During a search, police said the passenger attempted to discard a knife and pills fell out of the bottom of his pants.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and police seized over 2 grams of cocaine, several Xanax pills, marijuana, and over $375 in cash. As a result, officers arrested Ahmad Y. Faiky, 18.

Faiky faces preliminary charges of  possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and disorderly conduct.

Police alleged that Faiky has been involved with the distribution of drugs.
