Traffic stop leads to two arrests for multiple warrants

YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Police: On Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 2 PM, Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officer Connor Burnham observed a white box truck traveling north on Higgins Crowell Road with an expired registration and no safety inspection sticker.

The vehicle was stopped and the operator and passenger were placed under arrest on multiple outstanding warrants with assistance from Patrol Officers Ryan Murphy and Christopher Marino

Both men were transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters processed and then transported to Barnstable District Court.

As part of our Strategic Community Policing Plan, the Yarmouth Police Department conducts over 5,000 Motor Vehicle Stops a year.
