Truro Police investigating series of car and house break ins


TRURO
– Truro Police report that they are actively investigating a series of recent felony B&Es / larcenies of unlocked vehicles and unoccupied dwellings.

Between Thursday April 26th at Friday May 4th, police received four separate calls from residents who reported their unlocked vehicles and or unlocked and unoccupied dwellings were broken into and that items were stolen.

The B&Es/larcenies from the vehicles occurred at night while the incidents at the residences occurred while no one was home. The incident were concentrated to locations in the area of Route 6 between South Hollow Road and Longnook Road.

To date, 2 dwellings and 4 vehicles were broken into.

Investigating Truro officers are being assisted by the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
