TRURO – Two boaters are very lucky after their boat apparently foundered in rough seas off Truro. The boat grounded between Highland Light and Long Nook Beach. They were cold and wet but uninjured. Their cabin cruiser Makai out of Honolulu, HI, suffered extensive damage. U.S. Park Police and Truro Police responded to the scene to check the men’s condition. The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the incident.
