WEST BARNSTABLE – Two crashes kept West Barnstable rescuers busy Saturday. The first crash happened about noon on Route 6 westbound before exit 5. No injuries were reported but the left lane was blocked while the scene was worked. State Police are investigating the crash.
A short time later, a two-vehicle crash was reported on Route 132 by the Burger King entrance. A Chrysler 300 appeared to have rear-ended a Volkswagen sedan. One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital by Barnstable ambulance with unknown injuries. Barnstable Police are investigating this crash which tied up traffic in the area.
