YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: On Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 7:30PM, Yarmouth Police Officer Matt Mangano and Detective Scott Lundegren observed a hand to hand drug transaction at Bakers Square, which is located at the Yarmouth/Hyannis town line in West Yarmouth.
Occupants in a vehicle involved in the drug distribution parked at the Race Mart Gas station were encountered and identified. All had criminal records involving illegal drugs.
Fellow Yarmouth Police Officers arrived to assist during the investigation including Anti-Crime Unit Officer Nick Ambrosini and K9 Gauge.
Two subjects were placed under arrest and cash recovered seized as suspected proceeds of narcotic distribution. Christy Anne Hennigan, 33, of Marstons Mills was charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine)(subsequent offense). Stephanie L. Pierre, 46, of Dennis was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine).
Numerous cellphones were also seized.
Both subjects are scheduled for arraignment today in the Barnstable District Court.
