Two face heroin charges in Falmouth

andrewsdamianFALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that on Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m., Damian “Clinton” Andrews, 31, of Falmouth and New Bedford (top right) was arrested for Heroin Trafficking and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws. Falmouth and Mashpee Police detectives have been conducting an ongoing investigation of Mr. Andrews, which resulted in the issuance of a search warrant. Mr. Andrews has a history of fleeing from police, so he was under surveillance today by Falmouth Detectives, supported by Mashpee detectives, State Police Drug Task Force detectives and representatives from the FBI. He arrived at the parking lot of the Sea Mist Resort on Great Neck Road in Mashpee and was quickly surrounded when he exited his vehicle. He and his vehicle were searched based upon the search warrant. During the search approximately 42 grams of heroin were recovered as well as over $1,600 in cash.

lopesjeremyAlso arrested was Jeremy Lopes, 37, of Falmouth (lower right) who was with Andrews in the vehicle. Lopes was arrested for Knowingly Being Present Where Heroin is Kept and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.

Both were transported to the Mashpee Police Department for booking. Mr. Andrews’ vehicle, a 2007 Mercedes Benz, was seized and towed to the Falmouth Police Department.
