VIDEO: Two injured in Harwich crash

HARWICH – Just before 2 PM Wednesday, Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to a 2 car motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries. First arriving rescuers encountered a work van type box truck into a tree and a BMW passenger vehicle. It appeared that 2 patients were evaluated and transported to CCH with apparently non-life threatening injuries. Traffic on Route 39 was blocked in both directions at Chatham Rd and Lovers Lane until the scene could be cleared. The accident is under the investigation of the Harwich Police.
