HARWICH
– At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police reported a motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment and possible injuries on Route 6 eastbound just east of the Exit 10 overpass in Harwich.

Upon arrival, Harwich Fire-Rescue personnel located  a VW sedan with front-end damage and a Ford Focus with heavy rear-end damage just off the road with all parties out of the vehicles and walking around the scene.

After evaluation by medics, two people from the Focus were transported to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation of what appeared to be minor injuries, and a third person refused treatment.

Traffic was slowed in the area during the busy evening commute until the vehicles were towed from the scene.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
