SANDWICH/MASHPEE – Two people were injured in a reported head-on crash Thursday evening. The crash happened about 7:45 PM on Cotuit Roat at the Mashpee/Sandwich town line. The victims were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. The cause of the crash, which completely closed Cotuit Road while the scene was worked, is under investigation.
