Two recent arrests in Wareham

David Dankers

WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: On Wednesday, November 28, Officers Christopher Corner, Ryan Turner, and Justin Silveira went to 44 Sunset Blvd. at about 6:30 a.m. in attempt to serve two arrest warrants on David Dankers, 32, of that address. Arriving at the location Officers Corner and Turner went to the front door and made entry into the home. As the two officers climbed the stairs, Mr. Dankers attempted to jump off an upstairs balcony, however Officer Silveira who was outside ordered him back into the home where he was secured in handcuffs by the officers. Mr. Dankers was brought to the police station and held without bail awaiting transport to Wareham District Court.

Michael Pina

On Monday, at about 6:00 p.m. Officers Nate Aronson and Charles Pillsbury arrested Michael Pina, 33, of no certain address, at the Rosewood Motel. Mr. Pina was yelling, waving his arms, and trying to start a physical fight with another male. As a result of the spectacle Mr. Pina was placed in custody charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
