MASHPEE – Mashpee and Falmouth rescuers rushed to the south side of Ashumet Pond off Hoophole Road after a small vessel capsized sending two people into the water. A civilian vessel rescued the two people from the water. The victims were brought to shore and evaluated but appeared uninjured.
