MASHPEE – Two people were trapped after their vehicle went off the road and down an embankment. The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Nathan Ellis Highway (Route 151) near Ningret Avenue. Firefighters had to stabilize the vehicle in order to extricate the victims with the Jaws of Life. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by Mashpee Police.
