DENNIS – As the winter storm pulled away from the Cape and Islands, Cape Codders breathed a sigh of relief. Traumatized by recent winters, the peninsula’s residents awoke to over a foot of snow in places but also to relatively warm temperatures, rapidly abating winds, and blue skies. After shoveling the driveway, the attention of many people turned immediately to the Patriots’ big game in Denver.
