VIDEO: Coast Guard airlifts ailing passenger from Queen Mary 2 off Nantucket


NANTUCKET – U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod crews medevaced an 84-year-old woman today off the cruise ship Queen Mary 2. The woman sustained a fractured ankle and a head injury after falling while on the ship.

An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew hoisted her, along with her son and a nurse from the ship, and brought them to Massachusetts General Hospital.
