VIDEO: Gannets affected from T.S. Jose rehabbed and released

YARMOUTH – On Sunday, Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources (DNR) Officers along with Cape Wildlife Center personnel released six rehabilitated Gannets into Nantucket Sound.

These gannets were part of a collection of birds, including one from Yarmouth, that were blown in and disoriented by passing Tropical Storm Jose. They were examined and treated until ready to be released back into the wild.

Yarmouth DNR provided one of their patrol vessels to help get these birds back into the ocean.
