HARWICH – At approximately 1:15 p.m., Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to the parking lot at School House Lane and Route 28 in Harwichport for a car vs. pedestrian with unknown injuries. Upon arrival of rescuers a conscious and alert male party was located on the ground at the entrance of the parking lot.
The male party was evaluated by Harwich Medics, immobilized in a cervical collar and backboard for transport to Cape Cod Hospital with possibly serious but apparently non-life threatening injuries.
Harwich Police are investigating the incident.
