VIDEO: Yarmouth DNR rescues distressed swan


YARMOUTH – On Monday, Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources (DNR) officers responded to a residence in West Yarmouth for the report of an injured swan.

Officers arrived and located a lethargic and distressed swan on the front lawn of the residence.

After carefully capturing the large swan officers transferred it to Cape Wildlife Center for assessment.

Professionally trained staff examined the swan and believed they could save it.

Yarmouth DNR thanks Cape Wildlife Center for their constant support in the rescuing and treatment of injured wildlife around the Cape Cod.
