Wareham DNR looking for illegal trash dumpers

WAREHAM – From Wareham Department of Natural Resources:We need your help to find the litterbugs who decided to cut up a swingset, gather construction debris and old logs and ultimately dump them on the high-tension lines off of Rickey Lane.

LOOK AT THE TOP PICTURE: Someone out there definitely has to recognize the engraved words of “The Cape House Cast-“. Maybe this is your old swingset from a house you sold and the new owners decided to dispose of it illegally? Maybe you remember swinging into the sky on this as a kid?

This is all new debris, within a few months..very disheartening. Whoever it was certainly likes the pre-packaged food at Cumberland Farms because we found LOTS of those wrappers. Oh and your 42” Vizio flat screen TV that was just purchased in 2016…very lucky you didnt register for that 2 year warranty! But if you did, you wouldnt have to dispose of your junk in the woods. Vizio would have replaced it for you and disposed of the broken television properly.

Future violators be warned, citations will be issued for offenses committed and possible seizure of the motor vehicle as well as drivers license suspension.
