UDPATE: Wareham DNR locates owner of two dogs that attacked, seriously injured woman


WAREHAM
Update: Wareham DNR reprots they have located the owners of the dogs involved in the incident that took place. We are working diligently with the victim and the dog owner regarding the incident. No further info at this time.

Previous story: On Monday evening around 5:00-5:30 pm a individual was attacked by two dogs while walking on the cranberry bogs near Papermill Road in West Wareham.

The two dogs are described as one being light colored and the other being dark colored, pit bull mix type dogs. The dogs were running off leash and not under verbal control of a older female. The female in charge of the two loose dogs is described as having light hair, medium build, and light color skin. The female and dogs exited the bog area towards the County Rd side and may be from the Pierceville Rd, Bethel Way, County Rd, or Fonseca Way area.

The female reportedly acknowledged the injured person and left the area with the dogs never offering help to the victim who suffered serious injury.
