Wareham Police arrest roundup for the week

WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: “On Monday, August 20, at about 10:50 a.m. Officer James White arrested Bianca Yeje, 25, of New Bedford, on Onset Avenue near Camp Street. She was arrested and charged with, operating after suspension of license, operating with a revoked registration, and operating an unregistered auto.

Michael Nelson

Later at about 9:55 p.m., Officers White and Kyle Gomes, arrested Michael Nelson, 26, of Plymouth after a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway. Mr. Nelson was arrested because of two outstanding warrants and having a suspended driver’s license.

Everett Johnson

On Tuesday, August 21, at about 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of Mayflower Way and Churbuck Street for a single car motor vehicle accident with no injury. After investigation, Officer Jennifer Braley arrested Everett Johnson, 70, of East Wareham, for operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Troy Fowler

On Wednesday, August 22, at about 6:15 a.m. Officers Justin Silveira and Christopher Corner arrested Troy Fowler, 27, of East Wareham, at his residence. Mr. Fowler was placed into custody based on an active outstanding warrant.

Michael Medeiros

Later at about 7:20 p.m. a Wareham Police detective arrested Michael Medeiros, 41, of East Wareham, as the result of an arrest warrant. The arrest occurred on Glen Charlie Road after the detective observed Medeiros as the passenger in a vehicle and knew there was an active default warrant for his arrest.

Michael Pina

On Friday, August 24, at about 3:45 a.m., Sgt. Daniel Henderson, Officers Ryan Gomes and Ryan Turner, responded to Tobey Hospital for a reported disturbance in the Emergency Room. At the scene they encountered Michael Pina, 33, of Wareham, in a tirade, screaming and yelling obscenities. He was advised to calm down which caused him to lash out even more, berating the officers. He was then placed under arrest and threatened officers by saying, he was going to shoot them when given the opportunity. He is charged with, disorderly conduct (subsequent offence), disturbing the peace and threats to commit a crime (subsequent offense).

During the week other arrests were made that are not available for public disclosure.”
