Joseph Deluca
WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: On Tuesday, August 28, at about 7:00 p.m. Officer James White and Special Officer Craig Oliveira arrested Joseph Deluca, 43, of Onset. Mr. Deluca was arrested at his home as the result of an outstanding warrant. This is the second arrest for Mr. Deluca on a warrant in recent weeks, as he was taken into custody on July 13 in Onset.
Michael Rezendes
On Wednesday, August 29, at about 1:00 a.m. Officers Justin Silveira and Christopher Corner arrested Michael Rezendes, 31, of Onset. He was taken into custody following a disturbance on Old Onset Road. He is charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest.
In other police news, Acting Police Chief John Walcek thanks the Board of Selectmen in supporting the Police Department’s effort at stopping the sale of alcohol to minors. It should be noted that the individuals who sold alcohol to minors are still facing criminal charges under Chapter 138, at the Fourth District Court. Acting Chief Walcek, said, “The hearing before the Board of Selectmen is administrative only. The Wareham Police Department promised that we would prosecute to the fullest extent of the law and that is exactly what we are doing.”
