Wareham Police report three recent arrests

WAREHAMFrom Wareham Police: On Thursday, October 25, at about 3:00 p.m., Wareham Police Officer Jennifer Braley responded to Anchor Liquors for the report of a car accident with one of the parties trying to leave. The vehicle in question fled the area, however Officer Braley spotted it on Cranberry Highway where she pulled it over near Tobey Road. The operator, Paul Demoura, 51, of West Wareham, was placed under arrest charged with, operating with a suspended license, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Daajan Clark

Later at about 6:45 p.m. Officers Braley and Charles Pillsbury responded to Walmart for a reported shoplifter being detained. At the scene, they placed under arrest Dajaan Clark, 25, of no certain address for shoplifting. Before being placed into custody, Mr. Clark lied about his identity giving a false name to the officers.

Christian Fernandes

Early Friday morning at about 12:45 a.m., Officer Christopher Corner arrested Christian Fernandes, 31, of Wareham on Sandwich Road. Officer Corner was aware that Mr. Fernandes had an active warrant for his arrest and placed him in custody after a car stop.
