SANDWICH – Sandwich Fire and Rescue responded to Scusset Beach shortly after 6 PM Friday after a report of a person on raft drifting too far offshore. A swimmer reportedly attempted to reach the victim but turned around and went back to shore. The Sandwich fire boat reached and took the victim on board and to the Sandwich Marina where they were evaluated.
