Wellfleet B&E nets large amount of household goods and furniture

WELLFLEET – Between September 5, 2016 and September 16, 2016 a B&E occurred to a home on Thoreau Way in the Town of Wellfleet.  A very large amount of household goods and furniture were stolen.  Homeowners left the residence on Labor Day and arrived back on September 16, 2016.  Among the items stolen were:

  • 1 9×11 wool Scandinavian rug
  • 1 4×6 wool Scandinavian rug
  • 2 4×6 Cheliwich rugs
  • 2 2×6 Cheliwich rugs
  • 1 2×3 Cheliwich rug
  • 1 2×3 Dash and Albert cotton rug
  • 1 Blue corduroy chair 1960’s vintage w/ wood arms
  • 3 Blue corduroy sofa cushions
  • 1 Long blue corduroy sofa cushions
  • 1960’s vintage throw pillows
  • 1 Lucite magazine end table
  • 2 simple Lucite end tables
  • 1 Brahms mount linen throw
  • 1 Vermont country store blue plaid Mohair throw
  • 1 Table lamp
  • 1 Vintage 1960’s table lamp
  • 4 Bright green Knoll signed dining chairs w/ rush seats
  • Fermob outdoor white furniture: 1 table, 1 love seat, 2 chairs
  • 1 Large Nantucket hurricane lamp by Simon Pearce
  • 1 Breville blender
  • 2 Bang and Olfsen Neoplatonism speakers
  • 1 Step on kitchen trash can
  • 2 Vintage Waste baskets
  • 1 Tall Wicker hamper
  • 2 Cheramyoff wall prints
  • 1 Queen size Martha Stewart flowered quilt
  • 4 Hand towels
  • 1 Bath mat
  • 1 Queen Brahms mount cotton blanket
  • 1 Queen comforter

Citizens are asked to contact Detective LaPense at the Wellfleet Police Department, 508 349-3702, with any information that might lead to the identification of individuals involved or the location of the stolen items. The Wellfleet Police Department also has an anonymous tip line at 508 349-0365.
