Wellfleet Police take part in Project Blue Light

blue-lightWELLFLEET – Once again the Wellfleet Police Department will be participating in Project Blue Light.

The department will have a blue light in the window of the police station and attached blue ribbons to the police cruisers through the holiday season.

This is to remember those who died in the line of duty. Blue ribbons are available in the lobby of the Wellfleet police station.

Officer Charles D. Williams died in the line of duty while directing traffic Main Street, Wellfleet on July 19, 1931.
