WEST BARNSTABLE – From West Barnstable Fire: Tuesday night the WBFD, along with its mutual aid partners, conducted their annual water shuttle drill at the Old Village Store. More than 88,000 gallons of water was transported in 2 hours to the simulated fire scene using nine tanker trucks. Most of West Barnstable does not have fire hydrants. The water from the drill was trucked from hydrants in neighboring Marstons Mills.
