West Nile Virus detected in mosquitoes in Truro

Meanwhile, Provincetown Police report that The Cape Cod Mosquito Control Project was in town Tuesday treating catch basins for mosquitoes. They do not spray pesticides or insecticides; they treat with a bacteria that eats mosquito larva. This is legitimate and their services are taxpayer funded.
