WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: On Wednesday January 16, at about 7:15 PM, Wareham Police were dispatched to the area of the Woods at Wareham for a report of a female who had pulled a firearm on a male. It was further reported that the female was operating a black sport utility type vehicle and was now exiting the property onto Swifts Beach Road. Within seconds, Officers James White and Garrett Smith located a vehicle matching the description parked on the side of Swifts Beach Road. After a brief investigation it was determined that a female in the vehicle was carrying a loaded firearm. Alyssa Sinclair, 21, of New Bedford was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm without a permit. It appears that the incident was the result of an argument when the firearm was allegedly brandished.
