Woman arrested on six default warrants in Yarmouth

YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Police: On Friday, October 18, 2019 at 6PM, Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officers Kevin Antonovitch, Mary Gibney, and Alex Xiarhos were dispatched to the area of Alewife Circle in South Yarmouth for a reported disturbance.

Upon arrival Patrol Officers located a female subject, later identified as Alexandra N. Baker, 33, of Centerville in the parking area adjacent to a residence.

A computer check revealed that Baker had six outstanding warrants for her arrest:

• Warrant 1625CR002646 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 10/04/2016 of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Failed to appear for Probation.
• Warrant 1625CR002857 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 10/22/2016 of Assault and Battery, Intimidation of a Witness, Larceny over. Failed to appear for Probation.
• Warrant 1625CR003134 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 11/19/2016 of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. Failed to appear for Probation.
• Warrant 1725CR000110 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 01/16/2017 of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. Failed to appear for Probation.
• Warrant 1725CR000892 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 04/08/2017 of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and Assault and Battery while armed with a Dangerous Weapon. Failed to appear for Probation.
• Warrant 1725CR001035 issued by the Barnstable District Court on 09/11/2019 for a charge in Barnstable on 04/30/2017 of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order, Resisting Arrest, Assault and Battery on Disabled Person over 60, Intimidation of a Witness, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Assault and Battery. Failed to appear for Probation.

All the above warrants were issued as Default Warrants.

Baker was placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and held in custody for the weekend.

She was dye to be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court Monday.
