Updated: Three arrested in series of housebreaks in Chatham

blaunerdaniellemCHATHAM – Chatham Police report that on Wednesday, Officers responded to a residence on Skyline Drive to investigate a daytime housebreak and larceny of property.

As a result of the investigation, Danielle M. Blauner, 35,  of Chatham (upper right), was arrested and charged with B&E Daytime for Felony and Larceny over $250.00.

Blauner is scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans District Court on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

CPD is continuing to investigate several other housebreaks that have occurred recently in the areas of:

  • Crowell Road
  • Heritage Lane
  • Highland Ave
  • Kendrick Harvest Road
  • Hitching Post Road

The lengthy investigation involving multiple housebreaks and larcenies was completed Thursday with the arrests of two Chatham residents.

Chatham residents became victims of these housebreaks beginning in mid-September. These breaks included malicious damage to property including smashed windows, damaged window screens and damaged doors.

The majority of these housebreaks included the theft of televisions, personal electronic devices, jewelry, bicycles and other personal property.

Based upon evidence collected from these locations, tips provided by citizens and attentive police work, the Chatham Police Department arrested a 15-year-old white male juvenile and Gilver Jiminex, 27, (lower right) Bell Road, Chatham, and charged them with:

  • Breaking and Entering to a Dwelling for Felony with Larceny – 15 counts
  • Breaking and Entering to a Dwelling for Felony – 1 count
  • Malicious Destruction of Property – 23 counts

Mr. Jiminez is scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans District Court on Friday, October 16, 2015.
