YARMOUTH – A woman in Yarmouth died Tuesday night after crashing the car she was driving through the garage door of a home on Seminole Drive.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. Reports from the scene indicated that the victim somehow became trapped between the car and the garage door.
Update: Yarmouth Police tell CWN that the victim’s husband returned home to discover his wife pinned between her Honda SUV and the garage door of their house. He called 911, however the victim, identified as 52-year-old Deborah Reade-Kochka, was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Yarmouth Fire where she was pronounced dead. Yarmouth Police patrol officers, accident reconstruction, and detectives are investigating.
