MASHPEE – A woman was injured after reportedly falling on a jetty in Mashpee. The incident happened about 12:40 p.m. at the entrance to Waquoit Bay near South Cape Beach. Firefighters had to go on foot to reach the location. A boat was then used to bring the victim to the and a boat was dispatched to assist in bring the person to the Great River boat ramp to meet the ambulance. The victim was then taken to Falmouth Hospital reportedly suffering from a head injury.
