Yarmouth and Barnstable PDs arrest alleged oxycodone dealer

lameirevernonjohnYARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Monday a search warrant was obtained from First District Court of Barnstable authorizing the search of 35 Laban Lane, South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The search warrant authorized police officers to search for oxycodone, a Class B controlled substance and evidence related to the distribution of oxycodone.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. Yarmouth and Barnstable Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit detectives and patrol officers executed the search warrant at 35 Laban Lane and seized numerous items related to oxycodone and heroin use and distribution. Some of the items seized were:

  • 211 Oxycodone 30mg pills
  • 9 Suboxone 2mg Strips
  • 2.5 grams of heroin
  • Various loose plastic baggies
  • Digital scale
  • Cash totaling $2,698.00

Vernon John Lameire, 54, of South Yarmouth was placed under arrest at the location on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (oxycodone), and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (suboxone). Lameire was transported to Yarmouth Police Department and was scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court Tuesday.
