Yarmouth & Barnstable PDs arrest alleged drug dealers and condemn hone

YARMOUTH – On Tuesday at 3 PM, Yarmouth Police Detectives, Proactive Ant-Crime Unit Officers, and Patrol Officers assisted of the Barnstable Police Department with the execution of a search warrant for illegal drugs at 25 Thatcher Road in South Yarmouth.

The warrant was obtained based upon probable cause developed during the investigation conducted by the Barnstable and Yarmouth Police Departments into cocaine distribution by Inga Washington.

Upon arrival to the residence, entry was made into the home and subsequently a search was executed at the residence.

Recovered during the search:

  • Cocaine
  • Crack Cocaine
  • Fentanyl powder
  • Suboxone
  • Klonopan

The following persons—all convicted felons with long criminal records—were placed under arrest at the conclusion of the search:

Inga M. Washington, 46, of South Yarmouth who was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (subsequent offense), distributing a Class B substance (crack cocaine)(subsequent offense), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (fentanyl), and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.

Denise J. Rogers, 55, of Randolph, MA who was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (subsequent offense), distributing a Class B substance (crack cocaine)(subsequent offense), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (fentanyl), and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.

Voris Stevenson James, 49, of Hyannis who was charged with warrant arrest

The persons listed above were taken into custody by the Barnstable Police Department and transported directly to their facility for processing.

Prior to clearing the residence, Yarmouth Police contacted the Yarmouth Health Department regarding the extremely poor living conditions at the location which led to the Yarmouth Health Department notifying the owner of the property Michael Cundari that the location was condemned and no persons would be allowed to live there until further notice.
