Editor’s note: Its National Fire Prevention Week. Many FDs are having open house events to celebrate. We’ll update this article with updates but if you don’t see your department listed, check with them.
EASTHAM – The Eastham Fire Department will hold an open house on Saturday October 13th from 11 AM to 1 PM. They invite you to come spend part of your day with them and learn about the services they offer, interact with firefighters and enjoy some free family fun. There will be free pizza and giveaways. The Eastham Fire station is located at 2520 State Highway (Route 6).
YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Fire: The Yarmouth Fire and Rescue Department will be conducting their annual Open House on Saturday October 13th from 10 AM to 2 PM. The Open House will be at Yarmouth Fire Department Station 3 located at 520 Buck Island Road in West Yarmouth. Stop by and say hi to your local firefighters and join in the fun! This is a FREE event with FREE stuff for the kids that includes many activities and food for all, pizza will be provided by Papa Gino’s. Come see the Jaws of Life demonstration, Dunk a Diver, experience the Safe House and many other exciting events. Come out and support your local fire department. This event is rain or shine.
