Yarmouth Firefighters go “Homeless for the Holidays”


YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Fire: Starting today and going through Sunday 12/8 Yarmouth Firefighters are Going Homeless for the Holidays. We will be at Our Lady of the Highway Church, 1044 Rt. 28, South Yarmouth, on the corner of Route 28 and Forest Road for 103 straight hours.

We are collecting new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots; nonperishable foods for local food banks; children’s socks, underwear and pajama’s for Katelynn’s Closet and monetary donations for these charities.

Bourne Firefighter Craig Poirier organized and started this event 15 years ago with help from
PIXY 103, fire departments across the Cape have joined the effort.
