Yarmouth No-Knock By-law reminder

YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department reminds residents that it is the time of year when door-to-door solicitors ply their trade on the streets of the town. The department reports that in the town of Yarmouth you have the legal right to bar solicitors from your property. The by-law does not affect religious or political organizations.

If you would like to prevent solicitors from coming to your home, the YPD invites you to visit www.yarmouthpolice.com and download and send in the registration form for the “No Solicitation List.” You can find it under the “Public Safety” tab.
