YARMOUTH – Update: Yarmouth Police report the SUV was located overnight in Hyannis with a juvenile operator arrested.
(Previous story) The Yarmouth Police Department is actively investigating the theft of a tan 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser from the driveway of a residence on General Holway Road in South Yarmouth at approximately 3 a.m. on Monday.
Similar in appearance to the vehicle pictured above, the stolen car is in good condition. It had a Massachusetts registration plate 937BMI on the rear and an Aruba decorative plate on the front. Also stolen was a set of Cobra golf clubs inside the vehicle.
The vehicle is believed to have been stolen by two young males who were observed in the immediate area just prior to the theft.
Anyone who spots this vehicle is urged to call 911.
